Stuff You Should Know . . .
Temperament Test Requirement
All first-time daycare and boarding guests are required to complete a Temperament Test prior to services to ensure they feel comfortable in our environment. This visit allows your dog to meet our staff, explore the facility, and safely interact with other dogs.
During the evaluation, we observe your dog’s comfort level, behavior, and play style to help set them up for a positive experience.
The Temperament Test is $50 and requires a minimum stay of 4 hours.
Vaccination Requirements
To maintain a safe and healthy environment for all dogs, Muddy Paws requires that every dog be up to date on vaccinations. Medical exemptions may be considered with documentation from your veterinarian.
Required Vaccinations:

Rabies

Distemper Combination
-
Bordetella
For optimal protection, we recommend that all vaccines be administered at least 48 hours prior to your visit.
Please provide proof of current vaccinations before your dog’s first visit by emailing them, uploading them through the owner portal, or bringing a copy with you. If it’s more convenient, we are happy to contact your veterinarian to verify vaccination records.
Flea and tick prevention is required from March through November.
Collar Requirements
All dogs attending daycare or boarding are required to wear a quick-release collar—no exceptions.
A quick-release collar is a flat buckle collar designed with a safety clasp that easily snaps open if pressure is applied. This helps prevent injury by allowing the collar to release if it becomes caught during play.
